So the sun has finally made an appearance and caught us all rather off-guard. Which sunglasses are we meant to be wearing? Is it OK to dust off last summer's Ray-Ban Wayfarers and hit the park?
This summer the look is more about the classic and retro, with the emphasis on a smaller style. All the cool kids have swapped allegiance from Wayfarers to the Ray-Ban Clubmaster. Wayfarers reached saturation point last year – as seen on everyone from Kate Moss to Lily Allen – and, according to the diktats of fashion, it's time for something new. Already sporting the new look are Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Rachel Bilson, Kirsten Dunst and Ed Westwick.
Like the Wayfarer, the style is unisex. The difference between the two is subtle – the Wayfarer has plastic frames in a range of colours, whereas this summer's Clubmasters have a thick bold upper frame but are metal-rimmed below. Originally released in the 80s, they are inspired by the 50s retro rockabilly style.
Clubmasters are best suited to those with a heart-shaped face and smaller features, whereas those with an oval- or square-shaped face or larger features look better with a bigger frame to balance them out. In general, a mid- to-large size is the most universally flattering, but it really is a case of trial and error.
In any case, don't despair if you forked out on designer shades last year. Leaving aside the Wayfarer, it's not a total faux pas to wear an old pair. Kate Moss, Rihanna and Nicole Richie have been spotted this spring wearing Prada's butterfly glasses, which debuted last summer. The large frames are shaped like wings and come in a variety of colours.
Victoria Beckham still favours the large bug-eyed glasses of the mid-noughties, sticking to the sunnies that suit her best. Her collection of oversized Jackie Os is as vast as her bag repertoire. She has even designed her own range. Large glasses will always be a favourite for off-duty celebrities as they disguise tired eyes and wrinkles and hide them from the paparazzi. We might not all be fighting off paps on a daily basis, but that's no reason to avoid this oh-so-flattering style.
For those keen to embrace the 80s trend but unsure about the staying power of the Clubmasters, we welcome back the perennial aviator. First designed during the second world war, they became favourites after Tom Cruise wore them in Top Gun. Their flattering teardrop shape has been spotted on everyone from Sarah Jessica Parker to Brad Pitt. (These have been customised over the years: Chloé produced a pair with a diamante heart on the lens in the late 90s – but it's best to stick to the classic design.)
And gazing ahead to next summer, we could be looking at a return for the small circular frames popularised by John Lennon in the 60s, and already seen on the fashion-forward Mary-Kate Olsen. Although, let's be honest, if you spend too long deciding which ones are for you, the sun will probably have gone in again.

Sexy Penelope Cruz For Mango Summer 2009

Penelope Cruz is a face of Mango,
as we know. The fashion brand presents the photoshoot with the Spanish
hottie for Summer 2009 collection. The pics are really fresh and modern.
Much excitement at the MTV Movie Awards last night, with a bewinged Sacha Baron Cohen landing on Eminem's lap causing an almighty furore from the rapper and his entourage. In the more genteel world of fashion there were plenty of well-dressed stars at the bash.
Rumer Willis sported an appliqué-ed green frock which complemented her hair, and Hills star Audrina Partridge wore a shimmering coral gown. Sienna Miller combined the two, in a green sparkling outfit from her Twenty8Twelve label. Cameron Diaz, although casually dressed, looked stunning in a leopard print top, jeans and violet boots.

If you know of a chicer take on the straw bag for summer, please let
me know because I am besotted with the Lulu Guinness Padded Straw Shell
Clutch.
The black color elevates what could easily have looked like a Boardwalk souvenir from the Jersey shore to a fashionable piece. The shape was definitely a risk - a shell silhouette can look a bit cheap - but not under the stylish eye of Guinness. The lines are kept crisp and clean despite the nontraditional shape.
The detachable patent shoulder strap is a great idea and I generally think all clutches should have them. It allows you to mingle with a drink and still have your hands free for shaking and nabbing canapes off trays.
There is a pouch inside with a faux pearl and the embroidered phrase "The World Is Your Oyster." Too cute.
On the down side, a seashell-shaped bag is never going to be your most practical option. So if you're hoping to take out a wallet, cell phone and keys, you might have to bypass this beauty.

Forbes announce its annual list of the world’s highest-paid models.
The five top-earning supermodels from June 2008 to June 2009 are entirely the same as last year’s: Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Kate Moss, Adriana Lima, and Doutzen Kroes.
But in that period some of them made less money than in the same period last year.
Gisele Bundchen made $25 million in 2009, though she made $35 million in 2008. She told GQ magazine that she didn’t really make $35 million.
She was in a popular ad campaign of Versace, True Religion jeans, Dior and others.
Gisele also has her own Brazilian shoe line and tabloid fame on pair with movie stars.
I think the next year it can be without her. Maybe you heard that she is pregnant.
The German beauty Heidi Klum has recieved much more money this year - $16 million, in 2008 it was $14 million.
I have recently discovered that men do know much about lingerie. And they do know what they like about it. While we, women, have lots of suppositions, some of which are far from being true. Though again it’s a matter of taste largely.
According to a survey that has been made by American scientists, who love to make researches in all spheres possible, men consider lingerie to be a great packing which make the “present” more attractive and wanted.
It brings intrigue to relationship and is often valued on a subconscious level. Anyway as soon as a man looks at a woman wearing lingerie he knows exactly what he wants from her.
Color
When men were asked about which color for lingerie they preferred more than 50% said they liked red or burgundy.
It’s quite understandable as red is a color of passion and provokes corresponding associations. Woman who opts for red lingerie is perceived as confident, passionate and sexually skillful. She knows how to please herself and her partner.
Black is very popular too. Black lingerie is sexy and at the same time romantic, particularly if the set is almost transparent and all the woman’s curves are seen beautifully.
May is the month of warmth turning into heat. We take off jackets and reveal our shapes. Some of us are already ready even for summer season, but others are still in the process. That’s good indeed! Working out in the gym, don’t forget to breath, eat and drink.
Stars will help you in dieting in May, because it’s a very hard task to follow on your own.
Miss May – Taurus
Digestion processes are too active in metabolism of Taurus in May as you do like to have meals often. You run the risk of becoming obese.
The first you have to learn to do is to chew slowly. It will help you to avoid the digestion disorders and prevent the obesity. Eat more vegetables (that are in plenty now): beet, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, onions, spinach, lettuce.
For thyroid gland proper work don’t forget about iodine sources: laminaria, fish. Bring into your ration to the extent possible. The following fruit is favorable for you, stars say: plums, apricots, quince, peaches, and oranges.
Drink predominantly lemon juice or green tea with lemon slices – it’s wholesome to keep the throat healthy.
Thank butterfly design for this post.
LG Rumorous Night was held in West Hollywood on Tuesday with some big names turn up on the red carpet to pose on the beautiful butterflies-studded redcarpet.
The event was hosted by pregnant Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum who has recently teamed up with LG to design new skins for the Rumor2 mobile phone. Expecting mother-of-three looked gorgeous in the flirty one-shoulder black dress and strappy sandals.
Must say most of the celebs attending the glam event chose mini dresses as the perfect ones for the occasion. What I also loved about the looks is that there were a lot of bright colors adding with spring vibe to the celebration.
I wouldn’t be mistaken if say that you have heard at least one fashion rule your mother and grandmother considered unbreakable.
Among those could be: Shoes and bags must always match; Never wear tights with open-toed shoes; etc.
You’ve probably heard them so often that even now when fashion has completely changed you still believe these rules are applicable.
However, if you want to be trendy you have to understand that most of those fashion rules are outdated and false. Forget about these once and for all.
Here is a list of rules you can safely break now:
• Shoes and bags must always match.
We have already written about this and now repeat once again: shoes and bags don’t have to match!
Rachel Bilson may have spent a few years in the O.C., but she’s learned her lesson since days spent tanning at the beach as a teen. The star has teamed up with Jergens to promise to get her tan from a bottle this summer and help raise awareness for skin cancer research through the Glow in the Dark initiative. Rachel talked to PEOPLE.com about her involvement, explaining that “growing up in Southern California, getting tan was a big part of the culture. Now being aware of how bad [tanning] is for your skin, you can still get that look and that glow without harming your body.”
Rachel’s favorites include the natural glow Foaming Daily Moisturizer and natural glow Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 20, which she loves because “you can put it on and you can wear it and be protected.”
