Project Runway winner launching maternity line
Christian Siriano might be showing his regular collection on September 11 during New York Fashion Week but he’s already busy with the new project under way. He’s teamed up with Moody Mamas maternity clothes founders Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin to create a maternity collection called Fierce for Moody Mamas by Christian Siriano. The collection will be launched in spring 2009.
What I just love about the news is what Moody Mommas say about the whole deal. A Moody Mamas rep told New York
he signed on because he thought it would be great for a gay man to team
up with two women who’ve never had a baby to do maternity clothes.
That’s a pretty reasonable reason, don’t you think?
