Victoria Beckham turns 34 on Thursday – and the birthday Spice Girl has been celebrating in some star-studded company. On Wednesday night, Posh and hubby David Beckham mingled with such pals as Eva Longoria Parker at the British GQ & Dunhill-sponsored cocktail party hosted by Elton John inside the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Not too far away was Kate Beckinsale and hubby Len Wiseman, who have been spending quality time recently with the Beckham family.
The ladies have been particularly inseparable lately. Beckham and Beckinsale were spotted on April 13, cheering from the sidelines at a Los Angeles Galaxy soccer match. (Unfortunately, Beckham's team lost to the Toronto FC, 3-2.)
Meanwhile, the footballer has opened up about that ill-fated game in his latest blog entry. And while the loss was disappointing, the athlete writes that he's confident his team will persevere as the season continues.

"We need to win the next two home games, starting with Houston Dynamo on Sunday," he writes. "If we can win these matches the two losses we've had so far will be forgotten about. We just need to get some consistency on the pitch and I'm confident with the players we've got that the wins will come."

The Devil wears Prada actress Anna Hathaway is dating very problematic boyfriend. What on earth was he thinking when writing down the check for $250.000? He didn’t even have this much on his account. What a bounce. Raffaello Follieri was arrested today. How would he accidentally assume he had a quarter of a million on his bank account? And what was he buying? He is so controversial, he has been the subject of a lawsuit by billionaire Ron Burkle for embezzling funds.
What is Follieri famous for? He started the Follieri Foundation, a charity that provides medical assistance for children living in third-world nations. Anna Hathaway began doing charity work with her boyfriend cause she realized she feels sorry for “having everything”. Follieri and Hathaway have helped vaccinate more than 1000 children in Nicaragua. And then they took some money from the fund to have their extravaganza Labrador trip. God! That’s pathetic. What a chip Italian shit!
The couple is such a show off. Anna is definitely the breadwinner in their couple. I do like Anna as actress and I think she is gorgeous, but she doesn’t have the entire super – celebrity - being. May be she should dump her boyfriend, who cheats on her with Roberto Cavalli model.

Brooke Burke has
been home with her baby boy for almost three weeks, and the little dude
still doesn't have a name...well a middle name! She says she still in
negotiations with her husband. Isn't that what the nine months are for?
Brooke says, "We've waiting our whole life for a son, and we haven't
named him. He did leave the hospital without the birth certificate. I
know that's terrible!"
She says they've agreed on the first and last name, but not a middle
one. Man, if this is how every decision is made in that household,
things would take an eternity to figure out!
Pamela Anderson isn't the only one claiming fraud in her brief marriage – now estranged husband Rick Salomon is making the same allegation.
News cameras have captured Brad Pitt building homes in New Orleans, and now federal tax filings for the Jolie Pitt Foundation have documented the good works that Brad and Angelina Jolie are doing behind the scenes.
All told, they gave more than $8 million in donations in 2006, with Pitt putting in $4,402,317, and Jolie donating $4,123,613, the Huffington Post reports, citing newly released federal tax filings. (These latest figures don't include 2007 – in which, among other charitable efforts, Brad's Make It Right Foundation raised $5 million.)
In terms of dispensing their funds, according to records for 2006, the foundation handed out $2,367,935, including $1 million to both Doctors Without Borders (International Division) and to the Global AIDS Alliance.
Additional gifts included $137,935 to the Namibia Red Cross Action Program (their daughter Shiloh was born in the African country); $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation (the late journalist's widow, Marianne Pearl, was played by Jolie in A Mighty Heart); $100,000 to Global Green U.S.A. and to the Epidermolysis Bulloma Medical Research Foundation.
In addition, $20,000 went to an art park in Los Angeles, as did separate $5,000 donations to two orphanages that Jolie had visited.
More Good Works
In terms of Pitt's work in Louisiana, Jolie's costar in the movie Wanted, Morgan Freeman, told People Thursday at the Pathfinders to Peace Forum and Gala, "We were in contact with Brad about the situation in New Orleans" – and he called Jolie "such a wonderful woman."
Said Freeman: "Aside from all that physical beauty, she's a real person."
The "American Idol" contestant never imagined herself on stage -- period.
Her dreams took place behind a chair.
"She's probably the most successful beauty-school dropout," said
Heather Harris-Torriente, who enrolled in beauty classes with White at
age 16 and remains one of her closest friends.
Though the stylist track took for Harris-Torriente, White stopped after a year and a half to focus on music.
But performing wasn't always natural for her.
As a sophomore, White was too nervous to audition for Heritage
Academy's production of "Meet Me in St. Louis." Heather
Harris-Torriente, a hair dresser and still one of White's closest
friends, said it took a handful of friends and the choir teacher at the
charter school to get White to try out.
"She went and auditioned
and got the lead role. We were mere background people. We didn't even
get parts," Harris-Torriente said, laughing. "That's when she really
found confidence in performing and really working and gaining in it."
Now, the 24-year-old, sweet-tempered blonde has her biggest lead role
yet as one of 11 finalists braving the weekly pressures of "Idol."
Besides her vocal talent, White has also shown deft hands with
instruments. Last week, Simon Cowell called her interpretation of the
Beatles' "Let It Be" on the piano one of the best performances of the
night.
Raised in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa, White and her three
younger siblings were brought up with high moral standards by parents
Brad and Kaylene, friends and former teachers say. Drama teacher Gary
Helmbold directed White in the school musical and recalls having to
break the news to her of a kissing scene.
"When I first talked
to her about it, she said 'Oh, but Mr. Helmbold, I've never kissed
anyone before except my Mom and Dad,' " Helmbold said. "We handled it
very gingerly."
Although a high school musical can be a breeding
ground for catty behavior, Helmbold said White could not have been more
gracious.
"Often times, the lead separates themselves from the
rest of the cast," Helmbold said. "She was everybody's friend. She was
always the first to arrive and the last to leave."
About four
years ago, White went to study voice at the Musicians Institute in Los
Angeles, Harris-Torriente said. She has lived there since with her
husband, Dave. In 2005, she released an album independently. When
"Idol" began, White was working as a nanny to twin baby girls.
For students at her old high school, it's been refreshing to see a hometown girl make it big without compromising herself.
"Seeing people on TV, you think you can't do that. It's a totally
different world," said Chiara Spence, 17. "She shows you can do
anything that you set your mind to."
Every Tuesday, Rick Dalton,
White's former history teacher, who first taught her to play the
guitar, reminds all his students to watch the show and vote for White.
He even uses her performances as material for giveaway extra credit
questions.
"If anybody deserves it, it's her," said Dalton, his
voice breaking with emotion. "Whatever she gets, she'll use it to bless
others."
Friends say nobody is better prepared than White to
handle the ensuing celebrity that comes with a juggernaut like
"American Idol." Harris-Torriente said it's always been about the
music, not the fame."She could sing in front of two people at
the piano or 2 million, it wouldn't make a difference,"
Harris-Torriente said. "I think she's generally humbled by the whole
experience. I don't think she needs recognition to feel good about
herself. She is real star!
